Methanobrevibacter ruminantium

A highlighted microbe featured a methane-producing species of archaea, Methanobrevibacter ruminantium. Mbb. ruminantium was the first methanogenic archaeal species to have its genome fully sequenced and has been studied extensively to reduce methane emissions from ruminants. Staphylococcus epidermidis
