I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as an Animal Science student. I definitely believe that I received a quality education, and I am truly grateful to now be an alum of the University of Tennessee in the BEST department there is!

I am thankful to have been a part of this college. It has helped me grow as a person and has helped me achieve my goal of getting into vet school.

The Animal Science department has a lot of wonderful things going for them. Over the last four years I have learned so much and feel very prepared as I head into the next steps of my life. Everyone was always so helpful, and being an ambassador gave me a chance to give back to incoming students.

I feel as though this department really cares about its students. I always felt as though my professors and advisor were there to help me thrive in what I was learning.

Overall, my experience was wonderful. UT Animal Science has given me the courage and skills to obtain a career in the field of animal science. Furthermore, my professors were always willing to help out, both in and outside of the classroom. I loved my 4 years here and I am sad that they have flown by.

I have enjoyed my experiences and plan to use what I have learned in my future career. I could not be more thankful for the opportunities I have had through this program.

I have loved all of the hands-on experience I have been able to gain at this university and will forever be thankful for the experiences I have gained.

I brag about our department all the time to my friends. People complain about their programs and advisors, and I always pitch in and let them know that animal science is a completely different story. It makes a huge campus feel small down here on the ag campus. I love our department!

I have enjoyed my time in the ANSC department here at UTK. I feel that it has helped and prepared me for postgraduate life and work.

When discussing with friends who have come from other universities, I have come to realize that UTK offers a much larger amount of hands-on experience with regards to both Animal Science and Wildlife

The Animal Science degree is unique and provides numerous hands-on opportunities for students. I am proud to graduate from this department.

I love the Animal Science program! It has helped me attain my goal to understand animals better and has helped me to apply for vet school.

UT Department of Animal Science was my “plan B” when applying for colleges in high school. After my first class, I was hooked and knew this was exactly where I needed to be. I fell in love with the classes and the way of teaching. College can be overwhelming but the staff…were always readily available to help and answer any questions. I’ve loved my time here!
