Meet our graduate research faculty! Areas of research emphases include various aspects of animal physiology (ruminant and monogastric nutrition, reproduction, stress, and obesity) and health and well-being (immunology, genomics, microbiology, pre-harvest food safety, and behavior) with an emphasis on agriculturally important species.
If you are a prospective graduate student, please review this list of our graduate research faculty for determining if any are engaged in research that is of interest to you. Assuming that several may be, please feel free to contact each individual directly to determine 1) if they are available to serve as your graduate mentor and 2) if they have any opportunities for part-time employment or know of other types of financial assistance that may be available as you pursue your graduate studies. To learn more about our faculty research, explore our recent features on their labs.
Please note that every effort should be made to contact and “get to know” our individual graduate research faculty for eventual selection of a graduate mentor. Doing so is of utmost importance for success in any graduate program. Any/all among our graduate research faculty would be able to provide you with the much-needed assistance/guidance should you submit an application or enroll after acceptance into one of our graduate programs.
