Casey Read, an PhD student in the Department of Animal Science, was selected to receive a USDA NIFA AFRI Merit Award and was honored as a National Finalist for Trainee Merit Awards at the recent Society for the Study of Reproduction (SSR) Annual Meeting for her research entitled “Influence of pre-ovulatory follicle size on the follicular fluid metabolome in lactating beef cows.“
