Getting new data that helps answer questions that have never been answered before!

Hopefully a practicing large animal vet, working with indigenous communities.

I love to draw, and frequently design tattoos for friends.

What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekends?
I love to hike and horseback ride on the weekends, when I am not in the lab.

Which historical figure would you most like to meet?
Rosalind Franklin

Who do you look up to within Herbert College of Agriculture?
I look up to Dr. Elizabeth Shepherd- she is extremely smart and kind, and never loses her enthusiasm for science (even when we have to run PCR 3 times in a row!).

What’s a skill you’d like to improve on?
I would like to improve my time management skills- I find it difficult to multitask in the lab.

Are you an introvert or an extrovert?
I am introverted, but extroverted in social situations!
