What is the most exciting part of your job?
Getting to assist with 4-H and youth events like 4-H horse and livestock shows!

What is something you find challenging about your work?
Because I come from an education/leadership background, it is challenging for me to learn hard science concepts. It works out because I love learning and I like challenges.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I originally wanted to be a vet, but during college I felt the need to be an educator instead.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Working for UT Extension in some form working with 4-H members and young adults.

Play golf or fly fish in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Ronald Reagan – My favorite U.S. President

Are you an introvert or an extrovert?
I consider myself an extroverted introvert. I love being social and spending time around others but sometimes need some time to myself.

What’s your least favorite chore around the house?
Folding laundry! I would rather wash 10 loads of dishes than fold 1 load of laundry!
