The 8th annual UT Beef and Forage Center Graduate Research Poster Competition was held on Monday, December 11, 2023, in coordination with the UT Beef and Forage Center Annual Research and Recommendation Meeting. The center was proud to announce the winners of the competition:

Presentation title: Uncovering Host Genetic Control of the Rumen Microbiome
Advisor: Dr. Phillip Myer
3 – Malerie Fancher
Presentation title: Yield and Quality of Stockpiled Tall Fescue for Winter Grazing
Advisor: Dr. Katie Mason
The event aimed to provide a venue and opportunity for graduate students to gain experience in preparing and presenting scientific information in a scholarly manner on a topic of current importance and interest to agriculture. The effort from the students is commendable and continues to contribute to the success of the Center, UTIA, and the land-grant mission. Congratulations!
