What is the most exciting part of your job?
How I can help educate people on the topics I love.

Who inspires you?
All sorts of people inspire me to do better. My animals also inspire me to do better for them!

What is something you find challenging about your work?
My day can change in a split second.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A Hematologist or Veterinarian

Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
I collect rare and highly sought after plants.

What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekends?
Go hiking with my dogs.

Who do you look up to within Herbert College of Agriculture?
Dr. Jennie Ivey, Lacey Johnston, and Dr. Gary Bates

What’s a skill you’d like to improve on?
My horse riding

Are you an introvert or an extrovert?
Introvert for sure

What piece of advice would you give your 18 year old self?
Just go with the flow. Things will work out and take the opportunities that present themselves and try to make your own opportunities.
