8am ~ Central Region Show – Showmanship, Prospect, Crossbred Gilts, Crossbred Market Hogs

8am – 2pm ~ Eastern and Western Regions check-in and ultrasound (all regions)

9am – 2pm ~ State Swine Show Sales Talk

12pm ~ All hogs must be on-site

3pm ~ State Purebred Breeding Gilt show

6pm ~ Hog College – 30 minute educational sessions open to anyone

  • Swine Health Update – Dr. Alexa McCourt, TN Department of Agriculture
  • Sow Repro Anatomy and AI – Jessy Shanks, UT Animal Science

8pm ~ Declared weight cards due for all market hogs, crossbred breeding gilts and prospects

8am ~ State Showmanship (beginning with Senior Level 2 and ending with Explorer)
Prospect Pigs, Purebred Market Hogs

8am – 12:30pm ~ Skillathon (Explorer, Junior and Junior High)

12pm ~ Lunch provided by Tennessee Pork Producers

1pm – 5pm ~ Skillathon (Senior Levels 1 and 2)
